Before they arrive
One link per booking, and it stops working after
Not one link for the flat that everyone gets. A separate one for each booking, that opens on the guest's phone and then quietly stops working once they have gone.
Without it
- Last summer's guests still have the same PDF, with the same door code in it.
- You paste the same six answers into a new message every time someone books.
- You have no idea whether anyone actually read what you sent.
How it works
You write your guide once for the property. Then, for each booking, you add the stay — the guest’s name, the dates, how many people — and the app gives you a link.
That link belongs to that booking and nothing else. Send it however you already talk to guests: paste it in the Airbnb message thread, in a WhatsApp reply, in a confirmation email you write yourself. There is also a QR code, if you would rather print it or show it on a screen.
When the guest opens it, they see your guide with their own details at the top: their name, their arrival and departure dates, how many nights, how many guests. Nothing about your other bookings, and nothing about your account.
What makes it different from a PDF
A PDF is a copy. The moment you send it, it is out of your hands, it never changes again, and it works forever.
A link is not a copy. It is a window onto the guide as it is right now. Fix a typo in your check-in steps on Tuesday and every guest who opens their link on Wednesday sees the corrected version — including guests who were sent their link a month ago. You do not resend anything.
When it stops working
The link is set to stop working after check-out. By default it stays alive for one extra day, which covers the guest who wants to check the address of the place they left something behind. You can set that to anything from zero to thirty days, per booking.
After that, opening the link shows a short message saying the stay has ended. No door code, no WiFi password, no address. The information is still in your guide for the next guest — it is just no longer reachable from that particular link.
If something changes
A booking moves. Change the dates on the stay. The link keeps working and the expiry moves with it.
You sent the link to the wrong person. Turn it off. That address stops working immediately. If you want the right guest to have one, give the booking a new address and send that instead.
You cannot find the link you sent. Open the booking and it is there. You do not have to create a second one or guess.
A guest asks for it again after check-out. You can extend the stay’s grace period, or simply answer them yourself. Nothing has been deleted at your end.
Knowing whether it was read
Each booking shows how many times its link has been opened and when it was last opened. It is a plain counter, not a tracker. You can see that the guide was opened four times; you cannot see who opened it, where they were, or anything about their phone.
On Pro you can also see which sections were opened and which were ignored, which is useful for working out whether anyone is reading your house rules. That is a count per section, not a trail per person.
It is most useful the day before arrival. A booking with zero opens is a guest who has not seen your check-in steps yet, and is a good candidate for a short nudge.
What this costs
Nothing. Guest links, expiry, revoking, the QR code and the open count are all on the free plan, for your first property, with no card needed. Paid plans are about running more than one property and about the extras that save you time — never about what your guest sees.

FAQ
Do guests need to download anything or make an account?
No. The link opens a normal web page on their phone. There is nothing to install, no password to invent, and nothing for them to sign up to.
What if a guest forwards the link to someone else?
Anyone with the link can open it, in the same way anyone with a forwarded PDF can read it. The difference is that this link stops working after check-out, and you can switch it off before then if you ever need to.
Can I still use it for direct bookings, not just Airbnb?
Yes. The link goes out in your own message, so it works the same for Airbnb, Booking.com, a phone call or a friend of a friend.
